The former lead vocalist of G.Fla, R&B singer Jung In makes her solo debut with the mini-album Jung In From Andromeda. The songstress has worked with artists like Leessang, Drunken Tiger, Dynamic Duo, Brown Eyed Soul, and Bobby Kim. Epik High’s Tablo, Clazziquai’s Alex, and Jewelry’s Park Jung Ah and Ha Joo Yeon all lent their voices to the mini-album produced by Leessang’s Gil, and Lee Juck also penned Hate You.
I love Jung-In’s voice for it’s raspy quality;it could be compared to Macy Gray. I can’t believe in the 8 years that she’s been in the music industry, this is her first solo! With a voice like this, she should have done a solo project earlier.
The album starts off with Show! featuring Alex and Tablo, a laid back R&B track. Alex lends his smooth vocals and harmonizes with Jung-In’s raspy voice. Tablo adds a fresh rap.
살아가는 ë™ì•ˆì— follows with more of a jazz sound with the horns and piano. This is also another song to add to the chill playlist on my iPod.
미워요/Hate You, composed by Lee Juk, is a emotional ballad about being caught in between loving and hating someone who you just broke up with. You can hear the emotion emitted in her voice and the first time I heard it, I cried because of how beautiful it was. A  more upbeat song follows,Girls On Shock [Feat. Enzo.B & 하주연 of Jewelry].  I really like the contrast in Joo Yeon and Jung-In’s voices.
ê³ ë§ˆì›Œ [Feat. 남ìžì¹œêµ¬]/Thanks feat. Boyfriend is  the sweetest song. It features her boyfriend playing the guitar. The song talks about why she’s thankful to her boyfriend.
I knew Jung-In was a singer with a powerful voice. This mini album didn’t disappoint! I liked every song. I cannot wait until she releases a full album because she is too great of a singer to only be featured and have one mini album. I rate this 5/5!
